Darryl Durham

PRESENTING & ASSESSING

Darryl has had extensive experience in the sports industry and education sector with over 32 years working at local, regional, state, national and international levels.

He spent 17 years with the Australian Sports Commission in many varying roles. Initially being recruited into the Australian Coaching Council then working with officiating programs including the National Officiating Scholarship program for 11 years.

His facilitation, presentation, teaching, and resource development skills have been utilised by many national, state and international clients including the Asian Football Confederation and FIBA Oceania. He has written extensive coaching and officiating education curriculums and resources for National Sporting Organisations.

He has also represented Australia as an assistant coach and mentor for the National Wheelchair Women’s Basketball Team at the Athens Paralympics.

He presently works with NSOs and SSOs in the development of training resources for officials, and the development of principal educators within their education systems through facilitation and assessment training programs.
